Slow Cooker Chinese Chicken Recipe



Slow cooking is a great option for busy families. If you can’t seem to find the time to cook a 3 course meal or just don’t have the energy to make a pretentious dinner when you come home after work, slow cooking is the easy way to go. Besides, there are a lot of delicious Crock-Pot recipes on the internet and this next Chinese Chicken is an amazing example of just that. To make this dish, you will need the following ingredients: 5 chicken thighs (remove the skin), salt and pepper, honey, sodium soy, ketchup, canola oil, garlic, green onion, pepper flakes, cornstarch and water.


Put the chicken in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper. Mix together all the ingredients, excepting the cornstarch and the water. Pour the mixture over the chicken and cook for 4 hours on low heat. Take out the chicken and add the cornstarch and the water to the slow cooker for 5 minutes. Put the chicken back into the slow cooker and when ready serve with rice. Tastes great and you don’t have to be a professional cook to make this nice meal.
