Up and down the East Coast of Australia, bushfires have burnt so many of our koalas the hospitals are overflowing.
This has prompted Morgan Leigh from Byron Bay to start making blankets, wraps and mittens for them and she needs help.
Morgan is calling out for new/lightly used 100per cent flannel cotton sheets.
“Used blankets are fine, as long as they aren’t pilling because the little bubs will actually eat the pilling,” she said.
And if you love to sew or crochet, the animals need you too. To find the pattern or if you can donate material or blankets go to Rescue Craft Collective Facebook page or Instagram @rescuecraftcollective.
