Mastering the decoupage technique can have a lot of benefits to your arts and crafts projects. By working with decoupages you can create any pattern you like on any object that has a smooth surface. You will be transferring the pattern onto the surface and create a very artistic piece that looks as if it were painted. You can also apply this technique to Easter eggs and the surface of an egg is truly perfect for this project. To make such a beautiful vintage feel egg as the ones in the pictures, you will need: eggs or eggshells, vintage botanical prints, egg stand, a pair of scissors, Mod Podge (matte) and a flat brush. Print out your patterns or you can use wrapping paper with cool prints.
Cut out the patterns using a sharp pair of scissors and apply a layer of Mod Podge on the egg. Add the pattern, let it dry a bit, smooth it out using the end of the brush and apply another layer of Mod Podge. Cover the entire egg with beautiful patterns, let them dry and place them on the egg stand in the end. You will have a very classy and amazing decoration for Easter.
