How to Crochet Nike Inspired Baby Booties

Who said being a toddler is an excuse for not being stylish? With kids getting in touch with trends at a much earlier age nowadays, it is better you get them familiar to DIY alternatives. It’s not only smart to make them aware of the alternate environment at their disposal, but also an investment for your budget over the next few years. So, a first and easy piece you can try this learning process is the shoes. Instead of buying an expensive shoe that your little one will most probably outgrow in some months, a year to be optimistic, you could make them from scratch. Well, not actually scratch, but some yarn. Crochet your way to some cute pair of shoes that resemble an original petite piece of Nike or Converse. If this experience has encouraged you to do more, why not try and make a matching crochet hat. It’s entirely up to you. Good luck on making the cutest DIY crochet shoes!

Would’ve been real nice if you had shown us how to make the swoosh as well…

    • Burnetta Bennett says:

I made my swoosh like this: I used size B hook and baby yarn. Ch 15, sl st into 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 3 dc in next st, 2 dc, 5 hdc, 1 sc, and end with 1 sl st in last ch loop, leave a tail to sew on.
