Homemade Non-Toxic Bug Spray

A bug can give us a lot of headaches as they are not the most pleasant visitors. You can find a lot of bug sprays on the market and many of them don’t work at all, some do but are filled with chemicals. We bring these toxic sprays in our home and they can damage our health and create us some unpleasant moments. To avoid these, make a non-toxic bug spray at home. You will need the following ingredients:

• 1/2 cup distilled water
• 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar or witch hazel
• 40-50 drops of essential oil (lavender, rosemary, peppermint, lemongrass, tea tree, or citronella)
• empty spray bottle (8 oz);

Add all the ingredients to the spray bottle and shake well. For a larger bottle, you can double the ingredients and this way your spray will last longer. This is a natural bug spray, free of toxic ingredients, but don’t worry as it is very efficient and your home will become bug free.
